Media and Edition: “Buttress” is a single lost wax bronze casting incorporating slabs of rhyolite, one of two in a series that includes “PMS Cradle,” commissioned as prototypes for a full scale sculpture project by Robert Brittan, then winemaker for Stags’ Leap Winery.
