Content: Animated Poem in 10 stanzas, “Évora a Doce,” a food epiphany, originally written on a series of napkins at the Tasquinha d’Oliveira, in Évora, Portugal, Monday, 8 September 1997.
Notes: Theresa Whitehill was chosen by the American Film Institute, as one of twelve California artists to participate in their 1998 California Digital Arts Workshop at their Los Angeles Campus. This poem was also published as a limited edition letterpress broadside by Alice Waters and Richard Seibert, letterpress designer and printer, summer of 1999, to commemorate the life of chef Catherine Brandel.
