The Story:
After many years producing print advertising for Old Gold, Colored Horse Studios was approached to design their first website. Old Gold is a business founded on personal service for fine jewelry, and the Dennetts wanted to maintain a focus on quality custom work, seeing the website as an opportunity to offer expanded services and availability to existing customers. They were interested in beginning with a smaller site that had room to expand as they evolved their understanding and involvement with the web.
The Results:
Colored Horse Studios designed the site around a successful series of print ads that kept a classic-contemporary typographical style emphasizing use of white space to frame the artistry of the custom jewelry pieces.
