KZYX Presents:
KZYX&Z is proud to be a sponsor of SolFest 2001, the Solar and Good Living Festival taking place at the Real Goods Solar Living Center in Hopland, August 25th and 26th. The weekend will feature speakers and more than 50 workshops covering such topics as solar, wind, hydrogen, energy conservation, fuel cells, straw bale, permaculture, the rainforest and the natural home. There will also be some great musical entertainment provided by Merl Saunders and His Funky Friends (Sat. 6 p.m.), the Ruminators (Sun. 10 a.m.), and Dr. Loco's Rockin' Jalapeno Band (Sun. 4 p.m.). In anticipation of this event, we are hosting on-air interviews with some of the speakers who will be featured at the festival. We will also be live broadcasting two of the keynote speakers: Roy McAllister from the American Hydrogen Association on Saturday the 25th at noon, and Dave Foreman on The Rewilding of America, Sunday the 26th at noon. |
