May you have a plethora of hope success truth joy compassion health wisdom restraint (when necessary) strength power mental agility vision and mojo. If that ain't enough may you manipulate the hearts and minds of the world through your charm and good deeds doling out vast and furious the simple and honest truths of our collective heart forever casting light in the dark corners and bringing the spiritually suffering offenders to the PARTY! (I hear Peter Sellers will be there) And if that ain't it, may you pop a nice bottle of champagne on the first.

Editor’s Note: This message arrived in my mail box on January 1 2008 and by the time I realized its brilliance and mystical wisdom New Year was long gone. So I kept it up for a year and am putting it up on the first of January 2009 because it's such a first of the year prayer and magical force. There were great drawings that went with it, but for that, you'll have to get to know Steven and Vicki, my oasis of musical and style culture on the Mendocino coast.
